ASSESSMENT
In each category, participants will receive:
- Golden Award with Commendation for achieving 95,00 to 100 points;
- Golden Award for achieving 90,00 to 94,99 points;
- Silver Award for achieving 85,00 to 89,99 points;
- Bronze Award for achieving 80,00 to 84,99 points;
- Recognition of participation for achieving 79,99 points and below.
When evaluating, the jury consider the technical preparation, the correctness of the musical notation, the musicality and the overall impression of the participant of the competition. The jury expects a technically and character-diverse programme, with which each contestant presents himself as comprehensively as possible.
AWARDS
Junior Category
The highest ranked competitor in Junior Category receives a Special Prize for the most promising young percussionist. In addition to the Special Prize, the most promising young percussionist awardee receives a practical award*.
Practical Award for 2026: DP Cajon (Handmade in Slovenia)
Competitors are listed in the results table in the order of their scheduled performance, along with the Award or Prize they received. The exact ranking remains anonymous, except for the recipient of the special award.
I., II. and III. Category
In I., II. and III. Category, for the first, second and third place, candidates receive a laureate in addition to the plaque:
- First Prize
- Second Prize
- Third Prize
Prizes are awarded only to candidates who have achieved one of the top three places and have also scored at least 95 points, which corresponds to a Golden Award with Commendaion.
Competitors are listed in the results table according to the order of the competition schedule, along with the Award or Prize they received. The exact ranking remains anonymous, except for the recipients of the First, Second, and Third Prizes.
Practical awards
Recipients of I., II. and III. Prizes in all categories are awarded with practical awards*:
In case that two or more participants of the competition are equally evaluated (points achieved) in one of the first three places, the prize is awarded to the younger of the two or among all equally evaluated.
*PRACTICAL AWARDS ARE AWARDED ONLY IN CATEGORIES, WHERE THERE ARE TEN (10) OR MORE CONTESTANTS.
